Node by Node

A poster zine which aims to introduce the concept of visual programming to designers interested in learning about a different approach to creative coding, as well as gives an example of a visual programming system for readers to try on their own.

I was tasked with creating an educational publication about visual programming and node networks. I decided to create a poster/zine which explained the theory/conceptual side of visual programming as well as provided a tangible example of visual programming in practice.

When folded into a zine, it serves as a short publication that introduces the concepts of visual programming and how it is used in the real world.

When unfolded, the poster side gives an example of a simple node network for a generative visual I created in TouchDesigner, with instructions for readers to attempt to recreate it on their own.
